WINSAT POEM

In 1994 on our Easter Tour we passed through Glasgow on our way up to stay at Carnoustie. On the journey Rick pointed out that it was a very clear that "There is a Rainbow over Glasgow."

During that tour and over subsequent years this phrase was often repeated and several attempts were made to compose a few lines around this phrase - but without much success.

In 1999, Ken Bamford's wife Suzanne, quietly completed a short poem entitled - "Of Rainbows".

When we had the opportunity to read or hear the poem, we were all greatly impressed and felt that it really captured the spirit of WinSat. It is now our official poem and is repeated here for your enjoyment.
